Prosenjit won the Jury’s Special Mention at the National Awards, 2006, apart from the BFJA for Best Actor. Dosar also won Best Director and Best Actress at the Indo-American Arts Councilm, New York in 2007. Filmed in black and white, the canvas lends amazing character to the story. Rituparno’s brilliance in story telling, Prosenjit’s persona and Konkana’s natural flair – they all come together to create magic on screen that has never been seen before. More than 2 years after its release, Dosar is still touring the world (more than 15 prestigious international film festivals including Festival de Cannes and IFFI Goa, amongst others) and picking up several trophies on the way, like the cherry on the cake.
